You might have one of this camping under your rear seat.

Humming noise when the car is in motion or stationary?
I would suggest that you remove the rear seat and listen if the humming is more accentuated. Play with the fuel level(full tank vs half tank full) has any effect on the noise. If it is humming while in motion I would check if it isn't wheel bearings.

humming noise
hi..it does it while stationary and in motion...if you press gas the noise increases in pitch to a certain level and when you let up it decreases in pitch..it does this while stationary nad in motion only while in motion obviously less noticeable because of road noise..it is more of a buzzing noise...electrical type noise not a mechanical noise..thanks rob..i think is is coming from the right side rear seat area
