Rear A/C option

Does anyone have any comments about this? My recently purchased UK BMW approved 2004 X5 4.4i Sport rear A/C seems very noisy. Dealer says he has replaced motor.

It's noisy. Seems to be the rule with these.

Sorry guys, I don't agree with the 'Seems to be the rule with these'. My rear a/c is that quiet I have to put my hand over the vents to see if it's on. Even when running flat stick it's still very quiet.

It's not an A/C per se. It's just two vents similar to the ones in the center of your dash that can be adjusted to cool/heat the rear passengers (or at least their legs) fed by a separate blower (which is what is loud) and blower regulator. And when fully open yes it is loud. I've been in plenty of X5's and have never heard one that wasn't loud.
