WTB: Can anyone help in our search...?

Hello, been lurking here for a little while but this is my first post. We are looking for an X5 for my wife without much luck.

We had found exactly what we wanted, agreed on a price and was ready to pick up the vehicle this weekend but the owner had it on consignment at the local dealer and they sold it without letting him know!!. Damn that was a bummer so, the search continues...

Our criteria are:

'01 or '02
Black (would consider dark grey but def. perfer BLACK!)
**MUST** be a true manual transmission
sunroof
electric climate control
heated front seats

The manual tranny definitely narrows the search but, I know the X5 we're looking for is out there!

I've been searching:

E-bay
cars.com
autotrader.com
vehix.com

Any other good sites to search?

If anyone knows of such an X5 for sale PLEASE let me know

I just picked up an '06 with a 6 speed manual and sport package. In an email earlier this week, the seller said he just got an '02 with a 5 speed manual and sport package. It's silver though. 54k miles.

His name is Anthony and moves quite a few cars. My dealings with him were as good as it gets. His number 914-485-1195

The manual geatly reduces your chances unless you broaden your search..you will have a hard time. I'd consider the silver one mentioned above, but you said it has to be Black...Have you driven an auto X5? If not, I say try it out and see if its to your liking. otherwise GL...

Actually, silver may work - my wife currently has a silver Hyundai Santa Fe (I know, I know but it's been a GREAT car for us and she really likes it).

I think she would do silver. Plus, we are just up in Vermont so, it's a pretty short drive for us.
