That has existed for a while. Business vehicles purchased for business use over 6000lbs and used 100% for business can be used as a tax deduction for a large percentage of the cost. However the business has to own and insure the vehicle.

I looked at doing this but didn't want to put "my" vehicle in the companies hands.

Neh, around just shy of 5400lbs unladen...then add in passengers/luggage. (3.0 is just under 5000lbs...that may be where you got that)

wow I didn't realize these cars were that heavy. do you have a spec sheet like that for the e53 models? i'm curious as to the curb weight of our cars and also what the fuel tank capacity is.

24.6 gallons tank

Weights: gross vehicle weight rating (lbs) 6,008, curb weight (lbs) 4,652, gross trailer weight braked (lbs) 6,000 and max payload (lbs) 1,356

thanks man. holy cow are fuel tank's that big? SO you're telling me they reduced the tank size on the newer models?
