Headlight adjustment after lowering?
I'm wondering if i'am just not remembering correctly or not and hope someone could shed some light on this for me. I have an 06 4.4 and just added the 4.8 front bumper and lowered it using the H&R springs and rear adjustment links. While driving at night I noticed my bi-xenons where projecting quite high and far on the passengerside striking other nearby vehicles. I don't remember them projecting quite that high, could using the rear links affected it, confusing the headlights into thinking its on an angle, and if so what should or can I do to fix this.

The headlight beam center should be about 2.0~2.5" lower than it is on the vehicle at a distance of 25 feet. You can check it against a garage door or any flat surface. If you need to adjust them, there are 2 white knobs on the headlight housing to adjust vert/horiz.

I attempted to adjust the headlight using the two plastic adjustment screws which make only very minimal difference when there on. However when I start it and turn on the lights and see the auto-leveler adjust itself I notice the significant difference. Because of the auto leveler is that what keeping me from making the necessary adjusment.

When I dropped my X with the K&N Coilovers this past November....I had to definitely adjust my headlights and fog lights at that.. We did it at my Indy shop....we waited until night.....pulled back about 25 to 30 feet from the closed garage door and adjusted what needed to be done utilizing the light beam against the door....

In the photo above, which (A or B) adjust the vertical position of the headlights? My headlights are way to low. I can only see about 100 feet in front of me.

Don't know if this will help but it's worth a try.
