Door indicator sensor.

Hi.

Does anyone know where the sensor for the door indicator in the cluster is located.?

When i open my drivers door, it doesnt show in the cluster that it is open. All the other doors are good.

I was wondering if this is in lcok(actuator), cause ithe remote locking is not working on the driver door.

sorry fell anot sure mine doesn’t have the door open indicator in the display at all , just wondering if this was a problem or if the European diesels were like this? I checked and cannot see the aerial view of the car digram that would indicate doors open etc, the display cluster even in the manual doesn’t show this, weird eh

Okey, thanks for checking.. This is a 2001 3.0l gas, not diesel.. It's an US vesion, imported to Norway in 2005.

Check to see if any plastic pieces are blocking the door. I had this problem too and I can't recall what I did to fix it..I remember a small thingy was setting it off..

Any chance you would remember what caused your problem.?

Im have not been able to solve mine yet...

I still do not know how the sensor is activated..
