SEAT EXCHANGE
Could anyone please tell me if seats from a 2005 X5 3.0 (front & rear) will work in a 2003 X5 3.0? I don't beleive they are comfort seats. Thanks.

direct swap,if those seats have same options ,if not you may have to hardwire the wiring loom to make it match

Are the 2005 seats much nicer? I have a 2001 and the seats are so so at best.

Don't think there was any improvement on seats in new models.
There are 3 different kind of seats, which one do you have?

I believe they are the same material between 3.0/4.4 models, only difference I've noticed is 04+ seats don't have that slight two-tone on the pre-facelifted model seats.
