Painted moldings

I know there was a thread about having the bottom moldings painted body color, but any opinions on having them painted gloss black? I love the way the plastic looks with armor all on it so figured it would look really clean painted.

IMO it would be too much in gloss black.

Maybe do an Armourall or similar treatment all over the plastic bits and take a few pics in really good light, post here and wait for comments. Or you could also do a photochop beforehand to get an idea.

its steel gray, i have no pics, on the homepage the link for bmw colors there are a few pics of what the car looks like.
