Just ordered New Wheels and Tires, Mods have officially begun!:)

Just Ordered replica 4.8is 20's stagered wheels and Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport Street/Sport Truck Summer tires for my 04' 4.4

Current Mods:
-Tinted Headlights
-Tinted Fogs
-Black out tinted windows
-blacked out tail lights and side indicator under 4.4 emblem
-Lowered with H&R kit
-aluminum gauge rings
-aluminum pedals and foot rest

Next Mods:
-4.8is bumpers & flares
-e46 M3 seats and Nappa leather throughout
-posibbly sued headliner
-paint wheels matt black (trucks already blacked out, windows and lights)
-graphite mettalic interior trim or carbon fiber wrap??
-Angel eye rings (which are the best?)

Any opinions on colours? (matt black wheels, blacked out lights, blacked out windows on Sterling gray truck?
I think its going to look MEAN and slick

how about the interior trim? carbon or graphite mettalic?

Since your in Canada .. first mod should be updated oil separator!

Man ... your list gave me a headache ... so much to do, so little time.

That sucker will be all modded up in no time!

BTW ... don't you already have AEs on your '04 4.4?

Oil separator can go bad and have associated part failures due to condensation forming. Condensation can form and then freeze (blocking the hoses or the separator itself) when you drive in very cold weather and do a lot of short trips. If you don't drive long enough it doesn't allow the engine enough time to warm up and burn off the condensation - so driving habits has a big effect. The newer oil separator design has insulated hoses to help from freezing. Please do a search .. you'll be glad!

AE = Angel Eyes. I assume all 2004+ X5s have angel eyes so you would not need them. You could replace the bulbs though.

OMG thanks for the info I will definatly take preventative steps!
Yes, I have angel eyes, so will want to change just the bulbs I guess?

You know whats so funny, I bought this truck as a winter vehicle, and drive a heavily modded M3 in summer....Once the mod bug has bitten you, it doesnt go away! I'll end up spending thousands once I'm done to hype up my new beloved X5

For the angel eye bulbs, go towards the end of this thread in the link below. It has comparisons:
