Door replaced question..battery drain?

I'm getting my drivers side door replaced and its going into the shop on Monday morning. (my neighbor backed into it and smashed it in pretty good, not happy about it etc) When the shop has the door off the car, the interior lights will be on. I don't want my battery to die. I could request them to unplug the battery while working on it but who knows how reliable that will be. My question is, will the interior dome lights and other lights stay on the whole time? or will they go off after 20 minutes? I'm not sure, I thought i heard somewhere that the interior lights will go off after 20 minutes if a door is left open on our cars, but I doubt it.

Is having them unplug my battery while they're working on it my only option? They'll have it for 3 days at least... thanks.
