Mobil One, Dexron, Amsoil, et al...
all come in "synthetic" versions, too. Or, cop a bottle from the dlr. Easy to replace with turkey baster...do it a few times over a few days, never going below the inlet hole. Dallas has got to have a good selection of auto parts stores and, brands to select from. GL,mD

YMMV but the viscosity between all the ATF fluids are different.....I was having noise issues, less viscosity--looser steering feel, etc. IMO, Mobil 1 DEX III (the one with the bottle that is labeled Dex III) worked the best for me.

How about Redline D4, I'm going to try.

I went through Amsoil Universal ATF, as well as Castrol. At that point, I went through a whole excel spreadsheet and looked up the viscosity of alot of Dex III on the market.
Anyhow, to summarize, M1 Dex III *specific* did the trick for me. When I state M1 Dex III....is because I recall seeing a universal ATF on the shelf awhile back. Try it. If it doesn't do your fancy...that end up doing what I did was trying till it did :-) Again..this opinion may be subjective and any Dex III will feel the same for you or sound the same...but it was quite a riot when Amsoil....being my 1st choice of lube, was too thin for the PS rack. |

Thanks for the input, I end up with redline D4. But I am not sure what is the correct level to fill up, there is a rod with 2 circle lines attached to the lid, are those lines indicate lower and upper level? thanks
