Smile E53/M54 longevity

Anyhow, using my 'ol beater as a daily driver now and will keep it until the wheels fall off. I know it's not as dramatic as one other X5 owner who already passed 200K, but this past weekend, just noticed our E53 has just met the 185K mark.

Nice!

Any chance you can post all the maintenance work done to date and at what mileage parts replacement/maintenance was performed?

I just started using my x5 as a beater Dec 1. I now put over 2,000 miles a month on it.

Amazing car to use as a beater and loads of fun, just expensive to maintain!

I know I promised to that several thousands of miles ago...I will compile it. It is actually all on my smartphone's memo pad.
