DOOR PANEL ARMREST TRIM

Has anyone had the leather door armrest trim piece come apart? I keep superglueing it, but all 4 door pieces have the same problem and they keep peeling up and separating on me. Is there a better fix?

The picture shows the piece, however It's not my damaged piece.

Thanks Man! It looks like I will have to take the door panels off to get to the armrest pieces because by just using glue on the edges they will seperate again.

Nope. What is your production date? Also, do you park in death valley or something?

November of 2001. Bought it in Miami, now it's in GA heat. the metal plates underneath the foam and leather are arched. I dont think the weather did it though. May be a flaw.

Hey Artriga- just came to mind... have you tried contacting the guys at LeatherZ Start Page ? They do all kinds of great stuff for door trim for Z3's etc, and might be able to help you out. They are great guys (Andy), real enthusiasts and top shelf all the way.

No , but I will. Thanks for remembering. P.S I nearly lost it laughing as I was reading your comments on the bobcat-man avatar! I do not remember laughing and crying at the same time in a while.

No problem. Yeah that guy still causes me to occasionally wake up in the middle of the night screaming.
