Question Portland, OR-area Shop Recommendations?

Anyone on here know of any great non-dealer shops in town to take your BMW to? I need to have a pre-purchase inspection done on an X5. I had thought I was going to use Autohaus Bayern in Beaverton, but I read some shady things about them online. My next choice was Boyd Motor Werks.
Any strong feelings on them, or any place in the area that is so great that you wouldn't consider sending your X to anywhere else?

Try Pacific off Powell: Welcome to Pacific Motorsports Online | The Premiere Independent BMW Shop of Portland

Mark is a great guy too and they're very thorough. PM me with any questions.

I have been taking my car to Autohaus for a couple years now. I really like them and they have always pleased me. I have heard good things about Boyd, but have never been there.
PM me with any questions also.

I'd go with Pacific Mortorsports off of Powell. They sponsor the local ACA club and always have great reviews! If I wasn't under warranty that is where I would go.

P.S. Looks like we need to form a Portland meet!

I have used Autohaus Bayern several times and they are awesome. I would highly recommend them.

OK, I called Pacific Motorsports and scheduled to take it in there. I was quoted $125 there vs. $180 at Boyd Motor Werks for what seems to be the same inspection. Autohaus is really conveniently located for me, but I just couldn't get over some of the negative reviews I read.

autohaus bayern beaverton, or - Google Maps
