Decisions, decisions....
So it's either the glossy black chrome 215's or glossy gunmetal gray finish....
Any pics I could choose between?

Here's some (21" version) in glossy black. I'd go with gunmetal for sure tho. The lines and curves on the 215's are too nice to not have a color with some depth like gunmetal or silver in my opinion. Mmmm, can you imagine how they'd look wrapped in real carbon fiber?

Are these ferric gray the same as gunmetals?! If they are, I like the black chrome!

Here's a comparison of a Light Gunmetal (this looks more like dark silver to me but they claim it's gunmetal, see bottom pic for better example), Silver and Black on the same rims. I'm sure whoever powder coats them has several shades of gunmetal one can choose from. Generally it's a dark to very dark (almost black) gray with very fine metallic flake in it. Gunmetal is one of the few colors that I think look really sharp in a flat finish rather than glossy.
![]() And another example of a darker gunmetal. ![]() Gunmetal has characteristics that pick up and play with light pretty dramatically. (the bottom pick is a halfway decent example of this, i think the gunmetal in the top pic looks like ass) Best I could describe it would be a dulled, gray/black chrome that doesn't produce a reflection.

Thanks for all the input. I know if I do go gunmetal it will be dark almost pewter with a high gloss finish...but I still think the black looks real mean, especially if I get the calipers painted gunmetal!! Is this eating my cake and having too?
