Another Memory Seat Module Question....

Has anyone tried repairing the memory control module. I have issues with it thats are described in many articles in the forum. I was wandering if there are any electronic savoy people who replaced the IC's, capacitors etc on the module and got it to work again?

1. If you did a search and looked on the homepage and still did not find a DIY then more than likely no.

2. If you're lucky, and be patient, someone might be able to help you.

This is not www.drive-through-instant-answer.com

Good luck!

Just a follow up on this. My seat memory did not work, I couldn't move the steering column either, but the seat control worked with the switches. I thought it might be the relay that have gone bad. I order them ($50) and replaced it. It was B......, at the end of it, it still didn't work which leads me to believe it has to be the IC's on the control unit. I thought this might be a fix and didn't work. I don't want anyone to waste their time and money trying to do this. The unit acted up after I changed the battery. I tried disconnecting the battery terminal a couple of times and see if it would work, but it didn't.
