rear view mirrow
i want to change my rear view mirrow on my 2006 X5 3.0i. i want to install one with a compass and the auto dimmer. my current rear view does not have an auto dimmer. what i want to know is how do i do this and do i have to run any additional wires for the compass and the auto dimmer. or is it plug and play and it will just work once i hook it up? i really dont know anything about this and i appreciate all the information i get. also will the rain censor give me a problem? if anyone has a link to the instructions please post it. please let me know if it is plug and play or i have to do some mods. thanks a lot guys

Found this on the Home page under Interior (Item 21) in about 20 seconds: Installing Compass Mirror
For removal and installation have a read of this: RA Removing and installing or replacing interior rearview mirror.pdf. found this one in about 2 minutes after going to 'Search' and typing in Rear View Mirror. Good luck.
