headlight switch question....
I have my hands on a headlight switch that has the button for the rear fogs (yes, i'm aware of the retrofit issues). The only thing is that the switch is for non-adaptive xenon lights (I have adaptive lights). I was wondering if I could still use this switch and if I did, would it affect my adaptive headlights?

Best GUESS is nope won't work. There's a separate part# for adaptive vs. non-adaptive switches - for both kinds of switches (rear fog or non).
Are you trying to use the rear fog to control your AEs or something else? If its the AEs, please do a DIY as I don't think the DIY on the homepage would work for face-lift models (w/o modifications). I'm doing rear fogs. My dealer has agreed to the work and i've presented them with all the details. I just need to get the parts now...... They will also try ot turn off the turn signal bulbs when the switch is in the 1st position (like euro models) so that just the angels come on when in 1st position and just the xenons and angels in the 2nd position...

I am actually planning on doing this and was going to buy the switch soon. Can you post some pictures of the switch back, front, assembly insides, etc?

Meister,
I can't give you switch back or insides but as we get rear fogs as stock in Oz I can show you the front. Bit of a shame really 'cause we need these on the Gold Coast like they need salt in the ocean. Would've preferred xenons but that's a different story. I'm sure you already know, but it's the sw on the right of the two. Hope it helps a bit.
