Hi from new X5 owner...

Hey guys, I wanted to say hello to all, as I'm new on this forum.

Last week my wife and I have purchased a Princecraft boat ( SS172 ) and find out later that the wife's Rogue 2008 is border line to pull this boat. Lol
Then the chase to get a clean X5 started.

This was only my second attempt to buy a bimmer. During fall 2008 I came to an agreement to buy a 2003 M5 but the car failed inspection and this was part of my conditional purchase agreement, fortunately I was refund by the seller but it was a costly operation since I lost 3-4 G on the currency exchange and also couldn't get a refund for both air ticket (1000$ ) as the car was bought in Chicago.

Now that this is behind me, I'm very happy with the X5, been driving it for less than a week but so far so good. The truck is coming to 100 000 KM wich is about 60 000 miles, there is no code and the truck has been well maintain by the previous owner. I found that there is some maintenance to perform at 100KM, do you guys have any suggestion since I do most of the maintenance myself ? Just so you know i have a home garage with all the tools and I'm quite mechanically incline, so changing an O2 sensor and stuff like that is pretty much a walk in the part ( a short one )

I know it's OT but if you want to see what I'm capable of please check this link ( go down the page ): My n/a project - Page 14 - Maxima Forums

I know I can drop the car at the local BMW dealer but before I do so and get ripped on the labour fee ( 127$ per hour ) and what not I though of asking here and see what kind of advise I would get.

Thanks for any advise.

Best regards from the north.

AA
