Maintenance....when do you go in?
My X5 has 44k mi on it and currently all the green columns are lit up, the yellow is not yet. When I was in for a maintenance issue last month the service rep told me he couldn't do the scheduled service at that time, but that he could in March. My question is, at what point do you take your vehicle in for service? Once the yellow service indicator column is lit up? On a yearly interval? Or on a mileage interval? Thanks in advance.

green columns go out one at a time then yellow column illuminates then red column illuminates . service when yellow column on . change brake fluid every two years , engine coolant every four years .

Your manual says that maintenance/inspection is due when the yellow light is lit and is past due when the red light comes on.

Ok, so sounds like I have a ways to go....I'm guessing regardless I should take it in before the 50k mi mark just because the standard warranty/service is over at that point and then the CPO kicks in.
