Front Tension Strut Bushing question
![]() Has anyone filled one of these bushings up with urethane to reinforce the rubber or lengthen the life of the bushing itself? I think i've seen an aftermarket urethane replacement of this bushing, but curious if anyone has tried a DIY version with positive results? |

OK, well PowerFlex makes a urethane bushing replacement for the control arm on the e53. I might DIY and fill my original bushings with urethane before I swap them out to see if it will net some positive result.

The bushings have been filled and will be swapped in as soon as I wrap my wheels with a set of tires. I'll post pics of the bushing and hopefully be able to post some kind of gain from this mod.
