Running board inserts?

Has anyone tried the aftermarket runninng board inserts/overlays on their X5 3.0?

Don't do it - IMHO.....very cheap looking!! Go OEM .

bought mine Morristown ($525). Very easy DIY - tones of installation info on this forum!!
