Hello,
I ve been trying to figure this out but no luck. ok here is the info.. i have about 110K its an 03 3.0i. at 96k Dealer did a tranny flush and thats all. I have original oils in the front axles, transfer case, and rear diff. The noise sounds like a metal hanger scraping against a moving metal part. its almost like a stuck debris in the rotor.... the sound only appears when you are pressing the accelerator. its sounds like a its dealing with the drive shaft...ive narrowed it down to near the transfercase area. now. if your driving about 20 mph you hear the sound very clearly but if you through the car into N the sound disapears. Also. the sound appears in R and D but in either direction if its put in N there is no sound. so its not from the bearings something with driveshaft... Dealer has looked at it and cant determine the cause they say they need to do some really indepth tests....which means money!!! lol so has anyone come across such sound? my second problem is with the right front passenger side wheel i hear rubber slipping suspension sounds when i drive very slow over bumps it squeaks what can it be? dry bushing? TIA |
