Passenger Door Won

I just replaced my passenger door handle carrier on Saturday and it worked beautifully until today when I noticed that the lock wasn't working and when I pushed the lock down (manually), after that I was unable to opon the door AT ALL. I can pull the handle from the inside and it will unlock the door, but still can not open it from either inside or outside...does anyone know what the problem could be????

I had a similar problem when I replaced my driver's side carrier. I can't tell you how I fixed it but I opened the door back up and fiddled with the lock post and the rod it is connected to and that seemed to fix it.

I am having issues with the passenger door...I can't even open the door to remove the door panel to get to the door lock again. The passenger door does not have the same "rod" as the driver side door...

Any thoughts?
