broken drivers door handle
I have just finished the broken handle carrier repair and would like to thank the forum again for saving us loads of dosh by being able to DIY it. Thanks to Gregwx5 for his write up . Was a medium hard job but all went well, the part #15 was £45 from my local main dealer.
The only mistake I made was that when I went to re-fit the outer handle I turned it the wrong way and sheared off the little lugs that hold it in, !!!!! i had a moment of panic and self abuse !!! then looked inside the door and realised that I could drill a little hole in the end of the peg and hold it firmly in place with a screw and washer. It worked perfect. Thanks again to all and keep up the good work.
