Help sourcing an engine...

Hello X5'ers,

I came here for help finding an engine that comes in your beloved X5's. I'm in search of a 4.6 or 4.8 to convert to obdI and swap in my 540. i have heard these are pretty hard to come by as the engines stick with the duct taped together cars mostly in the middle east

Two questions.

Can I use m62b44 head on a 4.6 or 4.8 block? if so, which head gaskets and head bolts?

I'm not sure if either of those blocks will fit the head of a v8 from the 540. if it does than go with the 4.8 but good luck trying to find either one without the car attached
