Question 2001 X5 trouble codes and maintenance question

Hello all.. I have been a lurker and contributor years ago in the electronics forum, but now I need some help

The SES light is on and the Peake reader is saying the following:
Table 0F
1A "Mixture Control, off idle, Cyl #1-4"
16 "PreCat oxygen sensor aging, Cyl#5-8"
72 "Camshaft position sensor, Cyl#5-8"

The X5 has 106000 miles and is a 4.4i.
I was debating if I should go ahead and replace all 4 oxygen sensors and am definately doing spark plugs. I am not sure if the cam sensor is bad as the o2 sensor is aging on the same cyl.

What repair recommendations do you have based on the codes?

Drivability is not affected, but fuel consumption has gone up
Thanks in advance!

Shop ebay for the sensors. Change the camshaft position sensor first, then the O2's, I believe the idle mixture is off because of the oO2's and sensor. The computer is tring to compensate by adding more fuel to system. But I could be wrong? Hope that helps?

I'd go with that. 02s are questionable at 100k, so IMO it is time to replace them. At least, the ones that do your fueling. The post cat emissions ones you can leave, but the fueling ones I would change. After the cam sensor. If the computer doesn't know where the cam is, it doesn't know if the valves are open or closed. That can be catastrophic.

Once you do those 02s reset the computer so it doesn't take so long to learn where the fueling *should* as opposed to where it is now.

I've got nearly 83, 000 on my 4.4i, should I replace the Oxygen sensors, too?

BTW, the Service Engine Soon light is on, could it be that?

O2 sensor can be picked up at $117 each, I'd replace all 4. The cam sensor is also in the same price range and all of it is DIY.

Pull some codes first then you can take it from there on what needs to be changed
