2003 X5 4.4 - No speedo/mpg - No codes

Hello everyone, I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a 2003 X5 4.4 which recently lost the speedometer and mpg readings. There are no codes or lights. I have taken all the abs sensor, and have inspected and cleaned off debris. Checked all fuses, including the ones next to the DME (the 30amp fuses). I have run the dashboard test and all is working great including the speedo and mpg arrows.

Is this possible to still be a fault to the rear left sensor or it might be something more major?

Thanks

A bad wheels sensor would normally light up the ABS light or DSC light. When you start the car, do you see these lights on for a brief moment! If the light come on, but goes off once the engine is started, you could have a problem with the instrument cluster.

O'Reilley Auto parts sell a wheel sensor for $60.00 USD. I have an O'Reilley wheel sensor on my X for the past 3 years. Originally I order a Genuine BMW wheel Sensor from Turner Motorsport, but they sent the wrong wheel sensor and I needed to get my X fixed right away, so I went to O'Reilley and not only were they cheaper, but they got me the part that afternoon.

I had symptoms of no speedometer, MPG gauge, and the trifecta lights. It was, of course, the ABS module. But I mention this because I did swap wheel sensors to confirm it wasn't that simple. It is not an onerous job.
