Question: Has anyone tried to retrofit a Pano Roof?

---Is it possible for an X that already has a sunroof in?

Any thoughts comments

Thx.

You'd probably have to change the whole top panel, including headliner. I wonder how expensive this mod would be..

no not kidding. Wondering if it is possible or if it would be cost prohibitive.

Like one of these babies!

"Cost prohibitive" would be an understatement. You might as well trade up for one with a pano roof.

Actually...I looked into seeing if it could be done. Not because I plan on doing it...I was just seeing if it is possible. The entire roof is spot welded. It can come off...and replaced with the pano roof. Just add new pano parts, paint and new headliner and your off and running. It is doable, but very very $$$

in that case i'd rather do a CF roof
much more xclusive, and less weight, a la M3 CSL and M6!
