IceLink for New Video iPod...
Does the current IceLink support the new Video iPod? If not, then when? More importantly... how much of an engineering feat would it be to streat audio and VIDEO from the iPod through a new A/V IceLink to the BMW nav screen. I can only assume that the NavTV crew is busy figuring out the same. |

The audio [on the video ipod] will work with current kits, the video would require a new kit..

Keep in mind that the video iPod's resolution is pretty low, 320x240 to be exact. When encoding videos, plan to see the usual "blockiness" or artifacting on a larger screen, like a TV.
