Yeah for some reason old photos seem to disappear here, which is unfortunate in the case of good write ups. My only other suggestion would be to check the BMW TIS.

well x still under warranty so no panic , except when i looked in expansion tank to inspect red float i noticed lower portion changing colour ,
a good indicator that the poxy plastic impeller on pump will be deteriorating.

not known if the water pump or timewater pump is good or otherwise , i started this thread thinking the water pump had a plastic impeller , and after the 740i experience and having read threads on x5 world saying x5 had plastic impeller , and many failed so i thought replacing the water pump to prevent failure .

If it's still under warranty why are you bothering with looking for repair instructions?

BTW, the plastic impeller doesn't have a lot to do with the failure rate anymore. BMW has switched from plastic to metal to plastic impellers and they all fail for one reason or another.
