Valley Pan Parts List

I'm getting ready to replace the valley pan on my 03 4.4, but I would like to get all of the parts ordered prior to starting the job. I have yet to find a full list of parts that should be replaced preventatively while the intake manifold is off, but I may have just missed it somewhere on the site.

Does anyone have such a list? I have searched extensively with no luck.

The closest thing I've found is the list on this site, but a few of the parts don't fit the X5: Intake Manifold Parts and Tools

Thanks!

Weasel will become famous soon enough
This is what I do each time...

Valley pan,
intake manifold gaskets,
o-rings for both ends of both coolant tubes,
gaskets for coolant cross pipe, (the part between the rear of the heads that the tubes go into, bolts up from behind, 3 bolts each side)
rear end cover of the manifold, (it has a rubber diaphram for the crankcase venting system that gets old and cracks)
gaskets for throttle body and front end plate of manifold (since you're in there already, just to catch all the gaskets)
The crankcase vent hoses if not done previously (much easier with the manifold off)
The vent hose that goes to the bottom of the rear vent cover of the manifold,
any vacuum hoses that look cracked up/brittle.

I only do all these things as that was I will not have to worry about ANY of it again.

Inspect the conditions of these things and get what you see fit, but that is how I will be doing it on my baby when it comes time.
