First and foremost i would like to thank all involve in runing this site. just like the quote "Where you come for the information

special thanks to all kind enough to provide advice and info(Genemish, mrbmwx5,rastafarai,twinspoppa,richirich, wagner, michelle, li-x5, jst2878, ldiggs910,x5rolls, and all others not mentioned).

last year i bought my 4.4I X with 53k, now it has 56k(premium package, nav, pdc, heated seats- fully loaded except for sports package). so far so good mechanically, no problems except for

1- non working power mirrors- when button is pressed they fold and unfold immediately! any suggestions or info on fixing this?

2-LED tailights(flicker and error msg(check rear lights) any suggestions or info on fixing this?

mx performed-(changed oil,filter,air filter) any other suggestions on what preventive mx i can perform?


MODS: 20 inch Silver stagerres, 5 Y SPOKES, STYLE #214 with vrederstein senssantra tires, OEM aluminum running boards, mud flaps, chrome gauge rings, aux input, matching Fog HID bulbs, LED tailights, chrome 4.8is exhaust tips, OEM sunroof and windows rain/wind deflector). see pics attached

1- what do you guys think about powder coating my wheels to gunmetal?or should i stick with the silver?

any other suggestions/ideas for mods?

The gunmetal will clash with the color of your X, plus the silver really compliments the running boards.

WOW Nice!!!!!

Looks like mine... only yours is nicer!.... I've been trying to resist the temptation of 20" rims and seeing your X isn't helping me any!

Looks great. Agree with the others.... the silver looks great with your boards and paint color. IMO, I'd stick with it.

Maybe shadow line trim in the future?
