Question about wheel bolts for spacers

Where are you guys buying your bolts? And more specifically how much longer a bolt do I need for running H&R 15mm spacers?

I have a set of them here and obviously the factory 14x1.5 17mm hex head bolts are too short. According to H&R a set of 43mm shank bolts is required for a 15/16mm spacer. I am only seeing 40mm or 50mm shank on Ebay, though I realize that is not the best place to be buying bolts.

So, where are you guys getting your bolts? H&R has them of course, but is asking $4.45 per bolt!!!

Turner Motorsports usually has a good selection of extended length bolts. On another note please do not go cheap on lug bolts. Your life and those that ride with you are worth a whole lot more than some cheap wheel bolts.

Thanks Josh... but still $4.25/ea and they don't list one for a 15mm spacer. Only 12mm and 18mm. Not sure if the 18mm ones would work?

Point taken. As long as I can find the grade of bolt required, I'm not too worried. I wasn't too hip on buying on Ebay, it was just a point of reference. I don't ever track the truck (or drive hard really), and install with a torque wrench so am not too worried about the bolts provided they have the required grade rating. But again, point taken for sure.

Dang I remember getting a set for the e30 for only $30ish. Maybe they were on a killer sale.

Sorry man, I don't have any cheaper ideas.

As far as length, I'd probably shoot for the longer end, but I haven't checked to see how much room there is on the other end of the hub

There is someone on R3v that sells them... so maybe you picked up a set there? I have a set that would be perfect (43mm) but they are 12x1.5... so basically everything but e53/e83/e65. haha

Just ordered some from ECS just to let others who are looking know. $2.79/ea and free shipping. Not bad. They have them in silver and in black.

Sorry. Late to this thread.

With spacers, etc and the need for ~aftermarket~ wheel bolts, I usually get RAD bolts. Made in Germany...if that sch1tz matters
