Just dropped truck off at body shop for 4.8is kit

SO!
Finally!
I've owned my truck since November and am finally finishing the Mods that I planned for it!
I have modded every car/truck I've ever owned!
Its a 2004 4.4 Sterling Gray Metallic with sport package.

So far I have it lowered with H&R kit, aluminum pedals, foot rest, and gauge rings, BLACKED OUT tint, tinted fogs, side indicators, and rear third brake light. (had tail lights BLACKED out but cops gave me a hard ass time few times so I removed the tint)
I have 4.8is 20" wheels with Brigestone summers (275's front 315's rear)

NOW FINALLY!!!! I just dropped truck off at body shop with 4.8is Rear extended flares, spoiler , and front bumper!!!! woooo!!!!

Soon as its done i'll post a bunch of pics!

nice news!

Where did you purchase all the aero parts?

Would you happen to have a list of all the part numbers needed exactly? Im looking to do the same conversion and want to get everything done right the first time and not have to revisit the idea.

How do you like the h&r springs? I want to maintain a nice smooth ride.

I live in Toronto Canada and the prices here are higher than U.S.
I paid approx 20% less than list and tax included. Bimmian is a local dealer here (big online distributer) bought through them so they did all the research for part numbers.
You should DEFINATLY buy through Morristown BMW In New Jersey since your in U.S and in N.J.
They have a 4.6 kit you can buy, cheaper than what I payed!
I would have bought through them but shipping would have been a PAIN.
and I wanted to keep my busines to a local supplier as I have 3 other BMW's and want to keep using same supplier.

as For the H&R's
I love them, dropped it enough to look more aggressive and were cheap as hell.
it handels WAY BETTER than stock 4.4 with sport package.
when you give it gas, the truck wont float back anymore, stable, no body roll, same when braking, nice level vehicle no more floaty feeling.
its more bumpy than stock.
not crazy

I have a e46 M3 with coil overs, and a 330ci with coilovers and had a 740i sport with h&r springs, X5 is WAY SMOOTHER than any of them

It will not feel as luxurious as stock.
good part is, you'll pay approx $300 U.S with tax
and $100 to install Or less and if you don;t like them, take them out and sell them.
the rear is adjustable so you can go higher for a more high rear lower front look or go lower on the back for a "race car/ I mean busines" stance

I'm going as low as it goes in the back so will post pics as soon as it comes back from body shop (prob April 27th)

Hope that helps

Maybe I can get some opinions on this?
three questions

Would you remove the 4.4i emblem now since I may look like a poser?
(and leave it with no emblem)

Would you leave the 4.4 sport muffler tips (4 black tips) or go to Oval 4.8is tips?

If I remove the 4.4 emblem, would you recomend I remove the X5 emblem on the rear so theres no decals?

Thanks for your opinions

I say you take off the 4.4i badge and leave the x5 badge. I'd leave the same tips but if you have the money to spend on it then go ahead and change the exhaust tips to the 4.8is ones. otherwise just keep the 4.4i ones.
