They don't include the DVD player but they do have a TV tuner built in and a Tetris game too!

I ran the cables inside the seat (easy to do, just take the back protector off) and under the mat to the centre console. From there I added an 8-way splitter with video amp to feed both monitors and boost the signal (£5 off ebay) and everything runs to some plugs fitted into one of the switch blanking plates. To do this I found an old audio/video lead and cut it to length, then soldered the wires onto some plugs I bought from Maplins for under £1 each. Finally I added a power switch so that you can kill the power to both units at once - handy for when the kids nod off! I have a portable DVD player which I picked up for £25 and runs from the cigarette lighter socket. We originally used this on the centre arm-rest, held in place with a bungee cord.

The only issue is that there is no sound. There are built-in speakers in the headrests but these suffer from engine interference "whistle". I tried to block this using various decouplers and so on, but never got it completely eliminated. We leave the built-in speakers on zero then use the speakers in the portable unit instead (or the kids can use headphones). This does have the advantage of being able to keep the radio/CD working in the front for the adults.

I might get round to building in a cheap in-dash DVD plater to replace either the cup-holder or the cubby hole, but it would mean doing something about the speakers so the kids can listen to it.

Here's some pics...
Nice looking system!!

I would go with either of the systems recomended above, but I would not replace the overhead light unless you replace it with the BMW system because the light also contains the interior perimeter sensor

I have to agree that the Invision system is much nicer than any ebay setup. I would also agree that Lawrence (Aceyduecy) provides top notch service. I would rather deal with a real person than some fly by night ebay seller who you'll never hear from again.
