sobi6111 is on a distinguished road
i had same issue,mine was due to old fluid,i flushed it and put new one,squeak was gone. also they changed steering bushings.

Hmmmm I didn't know there was fluid in the
steering wheel that required flushing.

But who knows what a search using the words
STEERING WHEEL SQUEEK would turn up.

No the steerin wheel itself,but power steering. As most of the time squek comes not from steering wheel itself,but rack. So just my 2c
