I had this issue.
My car has 23k miles on it and the AC stopped blowing any air. I took this to service yesterday and had the "Final Stage Resistor" replaced. I'm not sure if this was covered under the warranty or service agreement, but I didn't have to pay for it. Sounds like many BMWs have this same issue. |

Not FST
When the FTR goes out, the blower quits. I had this happen too. But in my car, I can hear the blower working. Just that there was no air coming out. I think the evap coil is freezing.
