Thumbs up Rolled Over 70K Miles Today...

On our '01 X5. It will be 8 years old in September. Still love the car:
rock solid, handles beyond its avoirdupois, great brakes, runs well,
decent hwy mpg, very few problems, very limited repair expenses,
looks pretty fresh even in its late middle age, etc.

We haul stuff in it like a van, it holds 4 geezers and 4 sets of clubs,
hauls our fannies up and down the east coast to see the kids, has
never let us down on the road...and on, and on.
We have enjoyed it thoroughly.

Angle...I was making the 4 1/2 mile climb up our Mtn., but that gauge
is actually 12:00 straight up, and has never budged more than that.

My 01 just turned 70 too. I have not had it as long as you, but it has been the most enjoyable conveyance I have ever owned.

I have never had a car that I have added performance and styling parts to, to make it more exciting and to my liking.

Lookin good mD! How long do you plan to keep it for? At least you won't have any worries about impending trans failure with yours.
