The E70 is the current X5 model (model years 2007 onwards) and comes in 3 engine flavors: a 3.0 litre 6-cylinder, a 3.5 litre 6-cylinder diesel, and a 4.8 litre 350 hp V8.

All diesels, whether in the E53 or the E70 are 3.0-litre, not 3.5-litre. The 35d is twin turbo while the 30d (not sold in the US) is single turbo.
