maybe they had the radio left on too long, and killed the battery?

Nope. Battery is just fine.

Sounds like a weak battery to me too. I just had my 3rd battery installed a few weeks ago. My 2004 4.4 did the same thing, and also the instrument cluster went haywire, radio didn't work, etc. I went to the dealer after jumping the car and they said my battery was really weak from inactivity. The battery drained over a period of a year and just couldn't sustain all the power-intensive items in the car. The car shut down all non-essential systems until a new battery or a full recharge could be done.

Definitely not battery. Fully charged and works fine. I can only assume something got wet and caused it to go haywire. Everything is fine now. Just never happened before and only variable was the Car being washed.
Weird......
