Need photos of head lights on, Low and High beam, DRL

Not sure that all my lights are working. Low beam works great, when I turn on high beams, low beams seem to get brighter. What is the other light for? On my other BMW outside light was low beam, inside light and outside light was high beam.

I have a 2006 X5 4.4 with sport package if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

The outside lights are your HID low beams and high beams. The inside lights are halogen "flash to pass" lights. The inside lights are only activated by the turn signal stalk and don't stay on. High and low beams are combined in the outside lights.

Thank you. I thought something was broken. Are the inside also the DRL?

Correct.

In addition, you can have these lights programmed to
stay on all the time when your driving.

Cool, thank you for all your help. I have a dealer appointment already and will have them turn the DRL back on. Too many two lane roads I drive on not to have them on.
