Performance Chip

I am interested in anybody owning a 3.0i that has a performance chip installed. What is the brand and price? Was it worth the money and is the power increase significant?

I have a shark injector on my 330. Throttle response is different but no noticeable power increase. Removes the limiter, so that part was worth it. I can't remember what I paid but it wasn't much compared to my other mods.

Hey I was looking into getting the S1 for the 4.4i. But I had a question which is in reference to mileage. Since it is adjusting the air/fuel, does it lessen gas mileage?

This is a 3.0l gasoline car.?

And you only did a software update.?

How exactly is the improvement.? Faster, smoother.....?
And as asked before, does it improves the gas/milage ratio.?

Thanks.

Yes .... 3.0i gasoline car.I did SW and x-pipe plus cold air intake
The improment in SW make the car faster, smoother more fun to drive... That's best bang for the bucks
and it does improves in gas/milege when it come to increase HP.

+2.....I did the Dinan Engine and Tranny Soft.

BUT.........I also did Supersprint Exhaust......Cold Air Intake...and Xpipe Mods....in conjunction with each other.....

MRBM did the same.......................

point here is they all work excellent in conjunction with each other......

I have a Conforti Shark on my M Roadster. Looking at getting one for my 3.0. Here is the Dyno for a 3.0 with the Shark.

Dinan all the way.. with the stage 3 software and throttle body she loves to rev (and quick)! AEM intake and a new exhaust/resonator delete will perminately cure my X5's asthma.

As for gas milage I don't reset my CONS1 and I've averaged 20MPG over the last year with roughly 60/40 city/highway use (but I also know when to throw in the clutch and let the hill do the work so your YMMV)
