Recommended Independent Mechanics - Brakes + etc. in Brooklyn, NY
Hi All,

My mechanic said i need new brakes, sensors, and break pads for front and rear. The price would be about $1,000. However, I don't seem to notice a problem while driving. I have a 2001 3.0 X5 and live in Brooklyn, NY. If anybody has a trustworthy mechanic I can go to for reliable information and reasonable prices, please share the information!

will do! Unfortunately, i woke up at 4pm on Saturday, only to find out they close at 2pm on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. I'm having my fingers crossed that they will be opened Monday. If not, i will have to try again next Saturday.

good idea to wait till next Saturday and visit Bay Diagnostics... you wont regret it, trust me...

hey, i live in bensonhurst and have a decent reasonably priced mechanic. HEs on 86th street and 16th avenue, Gas station on the corner across from dolphin fitness...
