amp installed

installed my amp today! yes finally seems like the x5 is desgined for aftermarket audio. thanks to alpac's article i done it in about an hour. i found the remote turn on lead to be pin 10 on the grey holder. (if u have the 42 pin) so that should help u guys from using a voltmeter and checking every single one..
one thing though. i found that when i turn my volume up .. it rattles the hell out of my gas cap door.. any suggestions in holding that in place?!

Found this for you...

did u do the gas tank/cap mod? a lot of what rattles in the rear of the X is the
2 plastic pieces when u open ur gas door. i believe 1 is green and the other is black.
remove those 2 pieces, slap some electrical tape around them and reinsert.

Congrats btw

Are you taking about the Gas cap holder mounted to the gas cap door? It's green and usually is mounted loose to the door. Also I found that the flapper vents located in each side compartment in the rear of the cargo area vibrate ALOT. I stuck some paper towels in the vents to keep them open. Hope this helps..
