Installed the Axxis Pads last Weekend

Install was a breeze, after reading the great FAQ's on this site. In total, took about 1 hour. Biggest PITA was having to jack the X & find a good place to put jack stands. After following the bed-in instructions, I was amazed that the braking seemed to be even better than the already great X5 oem pads. The best, however, is NO BRAKE DUST. I've driven BMW's for 30 years, and I can't believe that I don't have to deal with the OEM pad's black brake dust anymore. I highly recommend this mod. What you will save on wheel cleaner will probably pay for the pads in a year or two.

Nice! How many miles on your X? And did you do rotors or just pads?
I am thinking of doing the same

did brake pad job on sister's 330 also a few days ago, was a breeze, except for some anti rattle clip at the very beginning, that was a pain to get off! but once u know what you're doing, brake pad change should take no more than 1hr and easy to do!

I did mine (just pads) at about the same mileage - have put about 6K on them since. I might say it's the best mod I've done - can't recommend it enough. My wheels look pissa! (when's the last time ya heard that one!) OMG - flashback....
