BMW has a sticker on the inside of the driver door jamb that tells you what pressure you should use depending on the size of the tire you have on the car. Follow the guidelines and you should not have a problem regardless of tire manufacturer.

I question here: when you say bad in winter about a tire, do you mean on ice/snow or also on wet pavement??
I am considering the Vredestein sessanta, and i really care about wet handling and braking, I don't care about ice and snow... are they good on the wet pavement and hydroplaning resistant??? Many thanks!

Vredistine Sessanta
I have 1000miles on these tyres now and I am happy with them with regards braking and handling in wet and dry so far. The only problem I had was that I damaged the wall of the right front tyre while cornering hit a pot hole. I had to replace the tyre with only 150miles
but that can happen with any low profile tyre . They are great value at €200 per tyre.

see my note in the "strong tyre..." thread on the Vredesteins - unfortunately a "softer" compound which excells in braking, will usually wear quicker
