X5 w/o DSP, Nav, or CD changer, do I have aux input plug?

I have a 2003 X5 3.0 (without DSP, Nav, or CD changer), is there a way for me to know if I have an aux input plug? If I don't see anything in the glove compartment, is it safe to say that I don't have it?

Probably not, but you should still have the wiring in the back for the CD changer that you could hook a DICE up to.

Thank you. That is also my understanding, after reading similar posts. I'm trying to find the exact part number since it seems to change with your options (DSP, CD changer, maybe year/model). Does anyone know the exact part # I need for 2003 X5 3.0 no DSP, CD changer, or Navigation?

You only have 1 choice for AUX input:

Auxiliary Audio Input - e39/X3/X5 Business CD

All the adapter seems to be in a little harness that plugs into the stock harness. Hasn't anyone just done a simple splice into the wiring w/ parts from Radio Shack? I was reading on E46Fanatics that someone did a writeup using a simple $5 3.5mm input jack, cut of the the end and wire tapped it to the stock wiring, in and out for under $10....but of course I can't find the write-up anywhere I've done aux inputs kits like these from ebay on Alpine, Kenwood, etc decks in the past so I can stream online radio from my Treo into my 740iL, so spending 4x as much to do it in the X5 kinda sucks.
