I installed an AFE CAI tonight and everything installed fine. I stuck my head in and started the truck. Walked to the front to make sure everything was good and close the hood. Walked back to door and see message...stop engine, oil press. The truck started running rough...I shut it off, let it sit for a few minutes and restarted. No errors and I even took it out for a short drive. Should I be concerned about anything?
On another note. Based on the quick drive, my first impressions are pretty good. I never believe the numbers regarding HP and torque. I've bought CAI's for all my cars. Anyway, butt dyno says is picks up and goes quicker and smoother from a dead stop. Acceleration from a roll also seems smoother and quicker. Anyway, I that's the short of it, hope I didn't break anything. As for a longer review, I do have a short 800 miles/11 hour drive coming up that should give a more complete review.
