LOWERING THE X, CAN ANYONE POST PIX OF THEIR LOWERED X?

Hey guys, im thinking of lowering my 04 4.4i X and I wasn't too sure if its a good idea or not, would I lose power, will it be a stiff ride??? I dont know plus I would really appreciate if you guys could put some pics of your lowered X so I would have an idea. Im basically looking for the advantage and disadvantages of this upgrade.
Thanx in advance.

Why you think it will lose power??????
After i lowered mine i love the look of it and the handling is very stiff due to lower plus the bilstein HD shocks i have.

A mild drop doesn't hurt. I'll be lowering mine on H&R or B&G springs on stock shocks. Where's the DIY?!?!

Do you have rear air ride suspension? If so, you need lowering springs up front and adjustable suspension links in the back. ie. B&G front springs and links from jlevisw in the back

I think Rich has the adjustable air suspension front and back with an intrax module allowing him to go lower than then BMW stock system. Your set up is going to need to be like MrBMW. Front Springs and endlinks. Or you can have the dealer reset the rear height as I am sure you have rear air.

I am currently collecting all the items I need to lower my X.

Have:
B&G front springs $215 (ebay)
custom end links from forum member $60 or $70 cant remember
Dinan Camber Plates $190 ebay

Need:
Front Struts $230 each
Rear shocks ??

Indy install with 4 wheel alignment $750

So I figure around $1500 give take a few Hundo's

Cheaper if you tackle yourself
